Winner/Bonus Shot/New Caption Contest

And the winner is…..

In an unprecedented decision, mostly due to my inability to make a decision, we have two co-champions of last week’s caption contest…..Bschooled with, “Can you hear me now?” And Dianne with, “We caught up with The Tea Party candidate for President in 2012 at his campaign headquarters. Red Woody Johnson promises to stay on the phone until Sarah Palin agrees to be his running mate.” I felt that they were both winners, so they both won!

Bonus Shot….

New Caption Contest….

Mr. and Mrs. Blake happily agreed on a wedding night activity that they would both enjoy. They had it their way.

Just beat my caption to win a fabulous blue link, international recognition and early onset diabetes!

      • Is it a view you look out on often?

        Comment by nursemyra | January 26, 2010 | Reply

        • Yes, almost everyday thankfully. It’s only about a 20 minute walk up the mountain or a two minute drive. I love it!

  2. Yay!!! We won!!

The award couldn’t have gone to two better people, Scott.

I had a speech prepared, but NM is right…once I saw that bonus shot, I forgot what I was going to say.

    • I agree, you couldn’t find two better people on the planet. I don’t care how long you looked either.

This may be the first time I’ve ever seen you speechless. Damn.

      Thanks B!!

  3. Ok, I’m back, but only because your caption for the last shot made me spit out my tang smoothie..

    You are the master.

    Comment by bschooled | January 26, 2010 | Reply

    • I appreciate the compliment. I think I felt the splash way over here. But that may be just wishful thinking….you know how I get.

A Tang smoothie sounds like a little, liquid piece of heaven. You’ll have to give me that recipe……please?

  6. OMG! I so want a celebrity nickname
I have always dreamed of walking the red carpet and when asked ‘who are you wearing?’ I’d smile and say Vera Wang, then I’d turn around and the tiny little bitch would be hanging off my back

my caption dear captain is …
eharmony.com denies all allegations of running subliminal Burger King ads on their site.

    • That’s hilarious! Then, you could cut off Jimmy Choo’s feet and wear them as shoes…..shit, yours was way funnier, mine is just sick in a Lector kind of way.

I like your caption too; they must be doing something if over half the population is now clinically obese.

      Thanks Dianne!!

Brilliant shot. I know some people in Missouri who would be right proud of that.

    That mountian photo is breathtaking.

    and

Are you kidding me with the Burger cake? and better yet, what the hell does she have on her head?
God Bless them both. There truly is someone for everyone.

God bless them indeed. It just warms the cackles of your heart and raises your blood pressure dramatically doesn’t it?

      Thanks Candy!!

  12. A special congrats to the winners! Their captions captured the subject brilliantly, while the camera caught him as . . . not so brilliant. Although the view from that toilet . . .

Anyway, that mountain shot is unreal, Scott. The winding road begs for a corner carving supercar, or perhaps a short jog on a cool day. Like a hundred feet or so for my burned lungs, then walking, crawling, passing on . . . but in a cool place!

My caption would be, “I married for his cute buns and really big meat!”

Budda Bing! Another great blog, mi amigo!

    • Love your caption! I love to walk up that road. Believe it or not before I started smoking again I was jogging up it….at least mostly.

What I wouldn’t give for a porshe to play with….

      Thanks Dan!!
